Bender of Alexandria was matron of honor for her sister. She was attired in a floor length gown of orchid crepe accented with silver. Her headpiece was a circle of crepe with a waist length veil and she carried long stemmed pink roses. Miss Amy Palmer of Ashland and Miss Brenda Newman of Strasburg were bridesmaids. Their gowns of deep purple crepe were designed like that of the honor attendant, and they also carried long stemmed pink roses.
