Mrs. Louise N. Cook

Mrs. Louise N. Cook of Amissville died February 7, 1971 in the Winchester Memorial Hospital. She was 69.

She was the wife of Henry Cook of Amissville. Born in Amissville she was the daughter of Wade and Mazie Williams.

Surviving with her husband, are seven sons, James G. Cook of Front Royal, Eugene H. Cook, Arthur L. Cook, Alfred L. Cook, Calvin A. Cook and Henry L. Cook, Jr., all of Fauquier Country and George S. Cook of Rockville, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Maude Cropp of Bealeton and Mrs. Carrie Fudd of Amissville; and 23 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Morris Baptist Church at Hume of which she was a member. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Sons of Mrs. Cook will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. and Mrs. James Grigsby have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Alpheus Cannon and Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Grigsby. Mr. Grigsby has just returned to the states after a tour of miliary duty in Vietnam. Saturday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Sealock were Mr. and Mrs. Billy Dodson of Rixeyville, Mrs. Johnie Hackley and Mr. and Mrs. Acrey Dodson. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reid and children were Sunday guests of his mother Mrs. Annie Reid at Opal. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hitt spent the weekend in Wilmington, Dela. where they visited his father, Raymond Hitt Sr. who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dodson were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dodson. Guests during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Acrey Dodson were Mr. and Mrs. Billy Dodson and Robin of Rixeyville, Robert Frazier of Warrenton, Mrs. Helen Edwards and daughter Teresa of Catlett, James Stringfellow of Boston, Miss Peggy Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reid and children Joey, Sherry and Dickie.
