occurred. Carla Ruth Euster of Sperryville, operating a 67 Toyota, skidded on ice, struck the left bank and turned over with damage of $500 resulting. ^
That afternoon at 5:45 p.m. three miles west of Sperryyilie on Route 211 another very similar crash occurred. Arthur Francis Nathan of Rockville, Md. in a 67 Mustang skidded on ice, struck the left bank and rock. Damage to his vehicle was set at $700.
Trooper W. A. Buntin investigated the crashes above.
The following day was quiet with out incident, but February 6 turned out to be a busy day also.
At 12:45 a.m. a mile north of Flint Hill on Route 522, Fred William Dodson, of Flint Hill operating a 67 Chevrolet, skidded on ice, hit the left bank and turned over. Damage to his car was estimated at $1,000. Dodson was charged with improper equipment, namely two very slick front tires.
