Squad Notes [
Sperryville Rescue Squad took Mrs. Thelma Dickerson and daughter Angela of Pittsburgh, Pa. from a wreck in Sperryville Saturday night to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal Monday, Jim B. Fincham was taken to the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville and returned to his home. On the same day. B. M. Varner, was brought from the University Hospital to his home in Sperryville.
The Sperryville, Washington and Flint Hill Fire Companies responded to a field fire last Wednesday at E. J. Haggerty’s Roundabout Farm near Sperryville.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Michael Dearing from his home in Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital Saturday night. The Amissville Fire Company answered a call February 5 to a chimney fire at the home of C. M. Clem.
Amissville Rescue Squad responded to a call from Sam Rector but services were not used. The same day Mrs. Russell Hackley was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. February 9 the Amissville squad responded to a wreck east of the village on Route 211 but service was not needed and the same evening H. W. Lehman was taken to Fauquier HospitalFlint
