Cancer Crusade
Nears County Goal
The goal of $1,500 for Rappahannock’s share of the 1971 American Cancer Crusade is in sight, according to the local Crusade chairman, Mrs. Stanley F. Reynolds of Sperryville. She expressed hopes of surpassing last year’s total of $1,900 and reminds residents of the county if they have not been contacted a contribution may be made by sending it to Mrs. Reynolds or any crusade volunteer.
A district chairman for Hawthorne District was not available, so envelopes are being mailed to residents in that area to use in returning contributions. All donations are needed to complete the fund drive and insure the $1,500 goal.
