James F. Massie and their family at Meadow Grove Farm. Sgt. and Mrs. Jimmie Latham and son of Landover, Md. were guests for the day Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Latham at Horner Hill Farm. Mrs. John Poe had as her dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Welch of Arlington, Mrs. Hester Poe, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Poe and family and Miss Irva Poe. Mrs. Nelson Corbin joined them in the afternoon. Mother’s Day weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Semones and Mrs. Ruth Corbitt were Mr. and Mrs Ronald Winters and children of Beltsville, Md. and Mrs. Eklward Hicklin and family of Gloucester. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley and Mrs. J. L. Walter were dinner guests Mother’s Day of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Newton and family in Etlan.
Mrs. F. L. Bowey and Mrs. S. W. Riley were in Falls Church Saturday and acted as judges in the sewing contest sponsored by the Pioneer Grange.
Miss Phoebe Green accompanied the band of the College of William and Mary on its spring concert tour last weekend. The group left by bus Friday from Williamsburg and performed at high schools as far north as New York City, returning Monday to the college. Miss Green was an overnight guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Truesdell and returned to her home Tuesday.
Mrs. James Smith of Chevy Chase, Md. is visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle and Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Cris were visitors Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pierson. The Pierson family toured Charlottesville Sunday.
