Rappahannock scenery is an apt subject for sketching and this group of art students attempts to capture the charm of the rolling hills and towering mountains from the back yard at the home of instructor Marie Pietri at Woodville, extreme left. Those working with pastels are Virginia Tuma and Sandra Massie of Washington; Harlean Smoot, Culpeper; Peggy Pryde, Washington; Hazel Fannon, Rixeyville; Carol Henry, Castleton and Madelyn Jones of Culpeper.
