Prize winning single specimens and artistic arrangements will vie for attention at the flower show scheduled for Saturday, May 22 at the Episcopal parish hall in Washington, Va. The show is sponsored by the Rappahannock County Garden Club and hours are from 2 until 8 p.m. A silver offering is acceptable.
The theme of the show is “As You Like It” and exhibits will include educational, horticultural and artistic entries. Horticultural exhibits will include peonies, Iris, roses, perennials and shrubs.
There are five classes in the artistic exhibits which are “Doing Your Thing”, “Love Story”, “Country Gentry”, “Happy Hour” and “Maybe Next Time”. Entries will be received from 8 until 10:30
