Secon’ry Supervisor
At the August meeting of the Rappahannock County School Board, Louis W. Linger, former Principal of Walton High School in Roane County, West Virginia, was appointed Secondary Supervisor effective August 2, 1971. Mr. Linger will succeed Kenneth W. Stanely, who is attending graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University. A native of West Virginia, Mr. Linger received his B.S. Degree from West Virginia Institute of Technology and earned his Master of Education Degree in School Administration and Supervision from Marshall University. He served as teacher, coach, and principal for fourteen years prior to coming to the Warren and Rappahannock School Division. Mr. Linger is an active member of the United Methodist Church. He holds a Superior Rating in the Wpst Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Officials’ Association.
He is married to the former Ruth Johnston from Clio, West Virginia. They are the parents of four children; thres sons, Wade, fourteen, John, twelve, Henry, eleven, and a six-month-old daughter, Kimberly.
