Md. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff were callers Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Payne in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Major Cowgill were in Charlottesville recently to attend graduation exercises at the University of Virginia when Mrs. Cowgill’s son Terry Davis received a degree of Bachelor of Business Science.

James Pullen, son James, Jr. and daughter Denise of Falls Church were visitors Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Putnam of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and children Debra and Bill left Monday for their home in Jackson, S. C. after spending two weeks with Mrs. Dennis’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers. Other guests on Sunday in the Nethers home were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers of Stephens City, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lewis and Charles Corder of Huntly, Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Ay lor of Sperry ville, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Russell and daughter of Winchester and Mrs. Thelma Russell.

Robert Lee Massie, Jr. spent Saturday night with his mother, Mrs. F. W. Spalding. Mr. Massie was enroute to his home in Richmond from a vacation spent in San Francisco, Cal.

Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest and family attended a Nicholson family reunion Sunday at the Pinnacles on the Skyline Drive. Sherry Murphy of Front Royal spent a few days this week as the guest of Renee Vest.

Miss Judy Lillard and Miss Jean Lillard of Greenbelt, Md. spent the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. The Misses Lillard with Miss Diane Miller of Woodstock returned Friday from a six weeks tour of Europe.

Guests from Wednesday until Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane and daughter Cathy Sue of Lanham, Md. Weekend guests of the Bradys were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brady of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brady and sons Chuck and Mark of Arlington were Sunday visitors.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller joined the Carl Howell family of Madison Heights at Charlottesville Sunday for a family picnic.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning spent the past week as guests of Mrs. Browning’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Palmore at Tappahannock.

Mrs. Ida Trump is visiting her brother Carroll Dickens this week at Beverley Beach, Md.
