Rector of Culpeper was the winner of the 1971 Ford Pinto which was the grand prize awarded at the annual Amissville Firemens carnival which closed Saturday night. According to Charlie Compton, Treasurer of the fire company, other prizes went to the following: Mrs. Dolly Stringfellow won the portable TV; Alfred R. Jones of Fairfax, Robert Dodson of Bealeton, Bitsy Lineweaver of Warrenton and K. A. Weakley of Washington, Va. received the four $25 Savings Bonds.

The Auxiliary grand prize, given away in connection with the queen contest which was a hundred dollars cash, went to Wilson Cook of Warrenton.
