warehouse on the property of T. C. Barron at Viewtown was reported Thursday morning and is being investigated by Sheriff Estes who said the wholesale value of the missing tires exceeded $1,100.
The lock was pried off to gain entry to the building and the open door was discovered by Clifford Cooke, an employee of the Barrons. Mr. and Mrs. Barron operate a general store at Viewtown and a new and recapping tire business in Culpeper.
Fellowship Supper
A Fellowship Supper will be held at the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
Bi-County Crafts
The Bi-County Arts and Crafts Group will meet September 16 at the home of Mrs. Virginia Brown at New Salem. This meeting on Modge Podge is announced early so members may contact Mrs. Howard J. Waddell concerning necessary equipment for use in the project.
