The Rev. Joseph S. Stirman, jr. has accepted the pastorate of Amissville Baptist Church and assumed this position with his first service Sunday, August 22. Rev. and Mrs. Stirman, above, moved to the Baptist parsonage last week. Rev. Stirman is a native of Louisville, Ky. and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College. He was graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a B.D. degree. He is married to the former Ella Mae Cadd of Roanoke and they have two children, Becky, age 10, and Ray who is 8.
