Mrs. Della B. Howard was a 'dinner guest Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Miller in Culpeper. Joyce Aylor of Cherry Hill, N. J. arrived Saturday to spend two weeks with her grandmother, Mrs. Howard. Mrs. W. H. Lyne spent the weekend in Richmond and Toano. David Lyne was a guest of Kate DeRossett in Williamsburg. Mrs. Delia Leake, who was called to Baltimore, by the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. William Dodson, was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Dodson. She returned home Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stith and daughter, Lori and William Dodson of Baltimore, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike of Gulfport, Miss, arrived Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Updike’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer. Mr. Updike has recently been separated from the United States Air Force. Mrs. George W. Hawkins with her sisters Mrs. Frank Edmonds, Mrs. Charles Burke and Mrs. Paul Jones of Front Royal visited their mother, Mrs. G. M. Golden last Tuesday at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Winchester and visited their sister, Mrs. D. M. Sulli’ an in Martainsbure, W.Va. Angie Battaglia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Battaglia of New York, celebrated his third birthday Sunday at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor with family and friends present.
