Albert Richard Flynn of Huntly is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal with gunshot wounds inflicted early Sunday morning. He was shot in the neck and shoulder area with a 22 calibre pistol by Joe Lee Lewis of Washington, Va. Lewis was charged with felonious assault by Sheriff Charles K. Estes and was released Monday on $1,500 bond to Wade H. Massie III.
According to Sheriff Estes, Flynn is recovering satisfactorily and is expected to be released from the hospital this week.

Homecoming Scheduled at Flint Hill Church
Homecoming at Flint Hill United Methodist Church is set for Sunday, August 29, 1971. The morning worship service at 11 a.m. will be conducted by a former pastor, the Rev. Edward Pruitt of Mathews, Va. Following the worship service, there will be dinner at the Flint Hill fire hall. All friends of the church are welcomed and local families will bring a picnic lunch with lunch provided for all others.
