A suggestion was made concerning changing the age of dogs when tags are required. The present age is 4 months, but six months was suggested since shots are required for the purchase of tags and a shot is not effective for three years until the animal is six months old (I hope you all understand this). Action on the matter was tabled until December.

The final sale days for the Rummage Sale sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary for the Washington Fire Department and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will be Friday and Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Held in the basement of the Washington Post Office building, the weekend sale will feature an automatic washer and a TV set, as well as other bargains.
