A mobile home??? Evidence of the continued dual laning of Route 211 through Amissville became apparent Tuesday when the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pierson was moved from the newly purchased right of way. The huge house was moved without interruption of phone, electric or water service and the owners Mr. and Mrs. Pierson and family remained inside to steady the china cabinets, “just in case". The heat had to be curtailed for a day and the family camped in two rooms during that time. The large, old house is the former property of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Rowzie.
