The Juniors and Seniors had a hard week-end with College Entrance Exams on Saturday which they took at Warren County High School. It included questions on science, English and math which help in determining college placement.
Our track team traveled to Blacksburg Saturday and made an outstanding performance. Charles Thomas placed second out of a Held of one hundred runners. Rappahannock, a class A school, placed third competing against 8 class AA and AAA schools. All the Rappahannock runners finished in the first sixty-four places. On Wednesday Senior boys were allowed to take the Armed Services Placement Tests. These tests include a variety of fields Hi a$ automotive mechanics, electronics, and clerical. Senior boys who plan to enlist in any branch of the armed forces will be guaranteed work in his preferred field if he scores high enough on his test. These tests are offered free and with no obligation. Plans for the Senior Ring dance are complete and ready for application Friday night in the school gym where there will be fun
