Mrs. Bessie Parks
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey, Jr., spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt White in Front Royal. Mrs. Marian Barb of Washington, D. C. was a caller in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris Sunday. Guest speakers at the Baptist Church Sunday, during the absence of Rev. Roy Mathena, were: Mr. Jerry Moore, a layman from the Culpeper Baptist Church, who spoke in the morning worship service, and Rev. John McKay, who preached in the evening. The latter is pastor of the Mt. Lebanon and the New Salem Baptist Churches. Mrs. John Pearson of Front Royal visited Mrs. Marie Williams Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Robert Best of Front Royal to Harrisonburg Saturday evening, where they all attended a dedication. Mrs. Welty Willis of South Route 522 spent Monday with Mrs. Timmy Williams. Ermand Morris and son Ronny drove to Waldorf, Md. Saturday where they visited the former’s mother, Mrs. Prentis Morris.
