Appointed Anew

As a result of redistricting Rappahannock County following the action of the 1971 General Assembly, the Rappahannock County School Trustee Electoral Board vacated all positions on tbd Rappahannock County School Board and made new ap-, pointments. A member for each' election district was named as well as one member at large which was authorized by the Rappahannock Board of Super-, visors at its December meeting. The following have been appointed: Jackson District, Ralph H. Rowzie; Piedmont District, Irvin L. Kilby, both of whom will serve until July 1972; StonewallHawthorne District, H. L. Manwaring for service until July 1974; Hampton District, Mrs. Byrd G. Jones and Wakefield District, Paul H. Nichols, both of whom will hold the seat until July 1975. E. N. Montague of Sperryville was named member at large to hold that seat until July 1973. This action was taken Tuesday night at a meeting of the Trustee Electoral Board which had been recessed from the prior Monday, December 13 meeting. At the Monday evening meeting a representative group of Citizens Association members appeared before the Trustee Board and presented recommendations from which selections might be made.
