Miss Avis Elizabeth Havel and Larry Wayne Glick were united in marriage on Monday, December, 20, 1971 in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Harrisonburg, Va. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Havel of Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Glick of Port Republic. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Racer of Front Royal and Rev. John T. Glick of Bridgewater. The Rev. James P. Lincoln performed the candlelight ceremony at eight o’clock, assisted by Dr. Robert McFadden of Bridgewater College. Fred Glick, brother of the groom, was acolyte and David Trout was in charge of the wedding music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory satapeau and Alencon lace. The plated Empire bodice was designed with a high ruffled neckline and long lantern sleeves which fastened with tiny covered buttons at the cuffs. Appliques of Alencon lace, embroidered with pearl clusters, adorned the bodice and sleeves,
