Sgt. George M. Colvin II of Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, has been promoted to Staff Sergeant, achieved outstanding Airman performance rating for 2 1/2 years and recognized as honor graduate of the Superior Academic Achievement for the Vehicle Diagnostic Test Equipment course taken while at Chanute Technical Training Center, Illinois.
Sgt. Colvin is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. J. S. Colvin of Viewtown and is married to the former Margaret Sheads, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woodie Sheads, also of Rixeyville. They have a son, George III, and reside in Larimore, North Dakota. Sgt Colvin has 18 months of service tc eomnlete.
