A double row of soutache braid extended around the hemline of the skirt and removable circular chapel train which fell from the back waistline. Her hand-rolled pouff veil of imported silk illusion fell from a Camelot bonnet enriched with Alencon lace and pearl clusters. She carried a bouquet of miniature red carnations and holly. The Maid of Honor was Miss Mary Hall of Winthrop College, Rock Hill, South Carolina. She chose a formal gown of ruby velvet, designed with an Empire bodice which had a high ruffled neckline and long lantern sleeves. An accent band of floral embroidery encircle the sleeves and the waistline of the softly gathered skirt. She carried an ivory candle entwined with holly and accented with a ruby velvet bow and streamers.
The Bridesmaids were Miss Joanne Barron, Miss Ann Barnhart, both of Bridgewater College and Miss Karen Glick, sister of the groom, of Port Republic. They wore gowns I identical to that of the honor attendant in moss green velvet and carried ivory candles entwined with holly and accented with a moss green velvet bow and streamers.
