Christmas dinner on Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster in Flint Hill. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and children Bill and Debra of Jackson, S. C. who are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wayland were dinner guests Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. A. Q. Craun in Orange. David Lyne, a student at the University of Virginia, has arrived to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Sunday afternoon, the Lynes visited Mrs. V. R. Shackelford in Orange.
Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda, Md. spent the weekend with her mother. Additional guests on Sunday were Mrs. Ray Capshaw of San Diego, Calif., Dr. Larry Kushner of Silver Spring, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and daughter Beverly of Winchester.
Susan Brown of Westhampton College in Richmond met her family, Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Jr., Margaret and Rodes III at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Sr. and were Saturday overnight guests, returning to Tazewell Sunday. Col. Harold Townsend of Alexandria was a visitor Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike of Richmond arrived Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Schaefer and Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison joined them Friday. Mrs. Ronald Jacobs and son Ricky of Wolftown will join them for Christmas dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Don Williams of Richmond will spend the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Maury W, Brown. Phil Hawkins, a student at Campbell College, Raleigh, N. C., with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding and children, Hayden and Cady of Centreville are expected to spend Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Mrs. Nelson Nethers returned home Saturday from the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
