To be eligible for this award, it is necessary to have at least four bulls by the same sire on rate of performance test at the .Culpeper or Dublin testing station. The animal with the highest average 365 day weight gain receives the award. The winning sire this year was Bandolier 79 RC, raised by Mr. Cannon and purchased by Ernest Hudson, Culpeper.
