Master Matthew Harcourt Lynn, three months old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lynn, Jr. of Thermopylae, Boston, Va., was baptised on Tuesday, November 21, according to the rites of the Protestant Episcopal Church.
The baptism was administered by the Rev. Albert Lucas, D. D. in the private chapel at Wakefield Manor, Huntly.
Present for the ceremony, in addition to the parents, were the baby’s grandmother, Mrs. William Lynn, Sr., and greatgrandmother, Mrs. Clyde F. Smith, of Huntly; the godfather, Professor E.P. Cognon-d’Harcourt ofTonnerre, France; Mrs. Albert Lucas; and the baby’s brother Wynn and Douglas Vocks.
Following the ceremony, a special dinner was given by the parents at Thermopylae in celebration of the event. □
