Edwin Heaton Bruce of Woodville died November 17, 1972 in the Veterans Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va. He was 64, the son of the late Marcus William Bruce and the late Inez Heaton Bruce of Rappahannock County.

He is survived by two sons, M. William Bruce and Robert H. Bruce of Sykesville, Md. and sixgrandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Brown of Woodville, Miss Ivy Lee Bruce and Miss Elva Bruce both of Sperryville, and Mrs. Clarence Compton of Reva; a brother Marion Bruce of Woodville.

A funeral service with full military honors was conucted by the Rev. James Adkins at 1 p.m. Monday at the graveside in Sperryville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bruce, Wayne, Bobby and Larry Brown, Barry and Mark Bruce, Bruce Smith and Chester Wayland. □
