RAPPAHANNOCK’S unique and hotly contested hound race ended the day’s sport.
Hounds picked up these- i ent quickly and were off in a pack after the drag line laid along the mountainside in full view of the crowd.
Winner was T. E. 01inger’s Skitter from Remington, followed by J. M. Gibbs’ Speckles from Pratts, with Jack Bruce of Sperryville’s entry third and C. W. Hitt’s of Castleton fourth. □ w.
