A question answered
Editor:
Mrs. George B. Ruffner of Front Royal wrote a letter to you last week defending the FMC stench and asking what Front Royal would be like without FMC. She ought to know the answer to that simple question.
Front Royal would be the clean, healthful foothills little city it was before FMC began polluting it with those awful odors. As to the employes of the viscose plant, they would be working for a j fine assortment of companies, most of which have stayed away up to now after taking one good whiff of the foul air.
Does Mrs. Ruffner have no consideration at all for the thousands of people including FMC workers who have to breathe this filthy air day in and day out?
