Mrs. James F. Massie of Amissville thought perhaps Rappahannock needed more “expert” representation on the Chapter Ten regional mental health board, but Rappahannock’s Supervisors said they thought she was doing just fine.
Chairman Newbill Miller praised Mrs. Massie’s representation on the board, specifically, and in general expressed the view that “the thoughts of a lay person” often serve as a necessary counterbalance to the views of the professionals.
