1 HE GRADUATED from Culpeper High School in 1940 and obtained his B.S. in naval science at the U. S. Naval Academy in 1945. After going on active duty he added a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Navy Postgraduate School in 1952, and a certificate from the Armed Forces Staff College in 1958.
His career included a stint as a destroyer commander from February, 1965 to June, 1966.
Until last December, air board staffers had to cover as best they could from Falls Church, the areaKe- > arns now handles. In December^ •-< control .officer Ramon J\ Minx was assigned to that area plus Fredericksburg and the counties around it.
MINX, who lives in Stafford, now devotes full time to Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford. He has a new business telephone number, Stafford 659-4400.
His and Kearns’ areas are formally part of the board’s Region 4. Fuller staffing is now being set up for that region. □
