MARY MILLER WOOD of Washington, local Board member of the Northern Region of the Virginia Lung Association attended the Youth Progam Committee meeting held at the Region’s office, Front Royal last Wednesday. Representatives from the eight counties served . by the Northern Region met to discuss ways the youth programs of VLA could be implemented in their counties.
The group heard reports of last year’s activities on anti - smoking programs that were conducted in elementary schools by youth groups, the Christmas Seal design project and activities of the* VLA Youth Board of Warren County High School.
