FLINT HILL United Methodist Church was the scene Saturday, July 27, for the two o’clock marriage of Sandra Kay Foster and Donald Lee Hawkins. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Foster of Flint Hill. Mr. Hawkins’ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl C. Hawkins of Front Royal.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. J.B. Grimmer of Lynchburg, before an altar decorated with lighted candelabra and an arrangement of white gladiolus and white chrysanthemums.
A program of contemporary music, presented by Miss Kathy Baldwin of Front Royal, included “Time In a Bottle,” “Life and Breath,” “And We Are Lovers,” “Close To You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “If,” “Once Upon A Time,” “You Light Up My Life,” and “Somekind of Wonderful,” and the traditional wedding marches.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white silk organza with an empire bodice of Chantilly lace and seeded pearls. The
