A SECOND 4-H club picnic for this year has been scheduled for August 14 at South Wales Swimming Pool on Route 229 near Amissville.The picnic held earlier proved so successful, the approximately 95 parents and children attending, requested another.
The picnickers will meet at the Rappahannock Extension Office at Washington and leave from there at 10 a.m., returning at 4 p.m. The total cost will be $1 per person, which includes insurance, swimming privileges, and drinks. Reservations are needed by Monday, August 12. Send them to the Extension Office.
