Realized a bit of nostalgia yesterday. Drove over to a neighboring town to see an old choo-choo train. It looked about the same, but there was a certain amount of modernization. Whereas the conducter used to signal the engine crew with the signal cord, they now employ walkie talkies. But, the whistle sounds just as loud, the bell clangs just as melodiously, and the smoke is just as black as it was in a bygone day. People still go down to the station to watch the train come in. One man was recording the noise, he said; “It’s a good sound.” I asked someone if he thought that God might let us have an old choo-choo over on the back side of heaven. He thought it was a good idea.Q
