FEEDER CATTLE SALES—This fall’s series of special feeder cattle sales will start the' latter half of September and wind up the end of October. Area yearling sales will start on September 19 at Culpeper and Marshall followed by Winchester on the 20th. The Culpeper and Marshall feeder calf sales will be September 26. The special sales season will wind up with Culpeper and Marshall sales October 31 and Winchester November 1.
A large run of feeders are expected and anything we can do to see that these cattle are marketed in an orderly, competitive manner should help. And with prices being what they are we need all the help we can get. Entries for the early sales are due in by August 9. For further information contact your Extension Office.
