RLEP’s major Bi-Centennial project is the marking of the historic “Lederer Trail” blazed through Rappahannock during the 17th century. Louis Lederer, according to diaries of the exploring party, was the first immigrant to travel this area and view the valley beyond the Blue Ridge Mountains.
