Golden anniversary
MR. AND MflS. CONNER JENKINS of Boston celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Sunday with a celebration held at the Sperryville fire hall. They were married in Sperryville by the Rev. James Brown at his home on November 15, 1924. Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins have six children: Mrs. Mary Atkins of Sperryville; Mrs. Charles Racer and Richard Jenkins, both of Boston; Frank Jenkins, Fairfax; Nelson Jenkins, Luray and George Jenkins, Alexandria.
They have ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. About 100 relatives and friends joined Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins in their golden wedding celebration Sunday and they received many gifts along with golden memories.
