Health, Residential Programs, which requested permission to purchase a house in Orange for operating a group home for mentally handicapped persons. The Board approved the proposal on the condition that a structurally sound house and suitable financing can be found.
IN OTHER business the Chapter 10 Board adopted “in principle” a request from the Orange County School Board to contract with them for hiring a full-time psychologist.
Also, the Board voted to change its title from Planning District Nine Services Board to the RapNine Services Board to the Rappahannock-Rapidan Services Board. This is consistent with the title die district planning commission recently assumed for itself.
