Two traffic incidents were investigated December 19 by Trooper W. A. Buntin. The first near Flint Hill on Route 641 was the result of icy roads.

Dixie Dee Brown of Front Royal driving a ’70 Ford skidded on/ice and struck a fence. She was struck from behind by Willie Williams of Chester Gap in a ’74 Chevrolet. Damage was estimated at $250 to the Brown vehicle and $35 to Williams.

The same day Estelle Butler of Sperryville driving a ’68 Ford stopped for a loading school bus and was struck by Robert Gibson
