Walking down the halls at Rappahannock County High School this past Wednesday you might have wondered if time had suddenly taken a giant leap backward—because being there you would have been overwhelmed by the sight of bobby socks, saddle shoes, long pleated skirts and pony tails that adorned the supposedly modern students of the '70s.

Well, Rappahannock County High School took a trip back to the ’50s, this week when the SCA sponsored a ’50s day for the student body and faculty. In fact, Wednesday it was hard to tell many of the faculty from the students! The SCA picked the girl and boy with the best ’50’s look and each were awarded $2.50 each.
