Jackie Estes of Washington, a part time student at Piedmont Vocational School, won second place in the state electrical contest held Saturday in Richmond, after placing first in area competition. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Estes and was awarded a certificate of merit and the medallion which will be kept at the school.
SCOUT TRAINING
Mrs. Pat Helmer of Castleton, Mrs. Judy Futrell of Culpeper and Miss Sue Titchenell, who works with the Girl Scouts of Troop 380, attended a leader training weekend, April 11-13, at Camp Sugar Hollow near White Hall, outside of Charlottesville.□
