Mrs. Jones
Mrs. Bertha Clatterbuck Jones, 70, of Browntown died April 11, 1975 in Warren Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Warren County, the daughter of the late Wade and Edwina Clatterbuck. Her husband, Ezra Bootie Jones and two sons predeceased her.
Surviving are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Clatterbuck of Front Royal and two sisters, Clattie Ralls of Sperryville and Sadie Jones of Bentonville.
A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Herbert Alford was held Monday in the Maddox Funeral Home Chapel and burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.□
REVIVAL
A revival will be held at Gid Brown Bible Church, April 20-26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The speaker will be the Rev. Waldo Grandstaff of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Virginia Beach. Everyone is invited. □
WSCS MEETING
The WSCS of United Methodist Church of Flint Hill will meet in the home of Mrs. Paul Miller Monday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Talent show
The Y.P.C. of Hopewell Baptist Chuifch is sponsoring a Variety Show which is set for Saturday, April 26 at the Sperryville fire hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The program will consist of songs, skits, recitation, modeling, two act play or imitations.
Prizes will be awarded in the talent show and a door prize will also be given. Anyone wishing to participate in the show may call Mrs. Rachel Aylor of Washington, 987-8118.□
