RAPPAHANNOCK harriers have been the victors in the first two cross country meets this season in which they have participated. The first meet with Warren County last Saturday at Blue Rock Farm netted a perfect score of 15 for the speedy Rappahannock Panthers. Warren County’s score was 49.
Participants in the second meet were Page County, Montevideo and Rappahannock with scores of 50, 65 and 21, respectively, giving the Rapps their second win.
In the Warren County Rappahannock meet the first six places were taken by the Panthers in this order: Donny Compton, Kevin Raney, Donnell Carter, Clifton Jen
