out a petition,, farmers should be careful to include the name of only one nominee, the signatures of at least three eligible ASC voters who support the nominee, and a certification that the nominee is willing to serve if elected. Petitions must contain this information; without it, they will not be accepted. The petitions should be dated and returned to the ASCS office by October 27.

Persons nominated for community committees must reside or have a farming interest in the community in which they are nominated. Nominees must also be eligible voters in the community in whicy they are a candidate. Generally, any person who is eligible to take part in any ASCS program in his community is eligible to be a community committeeman.

IT IS hoped that voters will nominate by petition six or more eligible candidates for each community between October 2 and October 27. If six candidates are not nominated by petition, the current community committee will make nominations to complete the rent community committee will
