County, the son of the late Robb and Homie Gibson Timbers. He was a veteran of World War II. He ran unsuccessfully for sheriff of the county in 1971.
He is survived by his widow, Annie Belle Starks Timbers, two brothers, Bell W. Timbers and Richard Timbers, both of Woodville, and a sifter, Miss Nellie Timbers of Woodville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. J.A. Holmes. Burial was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at Woodville.□
