As president of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society, and as a most interested participant in the Skin Cancer Clinic that is being held on Saturday, March 20, I would like to stress a few facts.

Statistics show that skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in North America, and accounts for 20% of all cancer. There wiH be 300,000 new skin cancer"cases this year, and 5,000 people will die from skin cancer alone.

This will be the Rappahannock Unit’s first opportunity to share with the County one of the services sponsored by A.^,S. C. Through the years the County has given time and-mdfiey during the Crusade drives to help others fight cancer. Now it seems a good time to help ourselves fight cancer. *
