Last Tuesday and Wednesday may have looked to many like the White Christmas we never got and to many R.C.H.S. students it may well have felt like it because there was no school for those two days.. That is, for most students anyway.
For a few, those taking part in the Senior play, which was to be that Friday, play practice went on as scheduled and from Friday and Saturday nights turn out, it was well worth the extra effort. The Senior play was a great success bringing in (with expenses deducted) over $600.00. “Pillow Talk” seemed a great success with both nights’ audiences. Ricky Dunn, as Alma, was definitely a show stopper keeping the crowd roaring with laughter both nights. Ray Rector as Jan and Tom Metzinger as Brad kept the audience in stitches with their romantic antics as the two leading characters. The final night of the play “Alma” presented the director, Mr. Bomberger with a pocket watch on behalf of the cast of the play. Meanwhile we’re all trying to decide if “Alma” is ready for the “bigtime!” What do you think Ruby?!
