A question arose regarding possible ac^iitional stipulations required by the State Board of Education. According to the minutes of die meeting received from the information officer, the State Board requires that the Board of Supervisors give budget approval for the kindergarten program now.

“I don’t think they can require us to ask the governing body to commit itself,” Montague commented. He didn’t recall this being mentioned at the meeting and the Board decided to request the information officer to go back and check the tapes in an attempt to explore the correctness of the communication.
