Qualifications: must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator’s permit and must be able to pass the test to obtain a chauffeur’s license, as well as to pass a performance test on selected equipment, must have a working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of light duty power-driven equipment, a working knowledge of state laws governing the operation of equipment on the highways, and the ability to make routine reports on hours worked and material used.
